WHAT IS AMIS CLUB?
AMIS Club is an organization for students majoring in Accounting, Management Information Systems or ISAC who have not completed all the requirements that are needed to be a Beta Alpha Psi member. The members of AMIS Club are offered the same networking opportunities as the members in Beta Alpha Psi. AMIS members are able to attend all of the meetings and events offered by Beta Alpha Psi. At each of our meetings future employers present a topic and give members time to ask questions . We have many social events, sponsored by Beta Alpha Psi, that allow the members time to interact with professionals in a more social and relaxed setting. Both corporations, such as Marathon, Avery Dennison and Becker, and public accounting firms, such as Ernst & Young, Deloitte & Touche, and Plante Moran, attend the events that are sponsored by Beta Alpha Psi. Many of our members obtain their internships and future careers through the connections that are made at these events.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
The only requirement is that you have an interest in Accounting or MIS and pay the $15 per semester membership fee. Attendance at the meetings is not required, but heavily encouraged.
WHEN AM I ELIGIBLE TO JOIN BETA ALPHA PSI?
Upon completing 60 credit hours of courses and achieving true Junior status with the University, you are eligible to become a Beta Alpha Psi pledge. To see the requirements for Beta Alpha Psi, check the "Membership Requirements" section.
